Arcane Gems slot – Gameplay and Features

Arcane Gems has 5 reels with 3 rows of symbols each.

There are 9 paylines, but here the symbols don’t have to start from reel 1. However, the symbols must be consecutive (adjacent).

It will not surprise you that the gems are the premium symbols, and the playing cards (spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs) are the lower symbols. The diamond is the best paying symbol. If you have 5 of them on a payline, you get a prize of 25x the bet.

The game is enriched with the Arcane Lock Mechanics and the Arcane Multipliers.

Arcane Lock Mechanics

When you spin a winning combination, you activate the Arcane Lock Mechanics.

Here the winning symbols (of the highest combination) are locked, and you get a free re-spin. If one or more of the same symbols are spun again, you get another free re-spin. This process continues until you don’t spin any of the same symbols again.

If you’re lucky, you’ll get a full screen of identical symbols.

Arcane Multipliers

But it gets more fun, thanks to the Arcane Multipliers.

If you fill a complete reel with the same symbols (i.e. a column), you get a multiplier at the top of that reel, which is at least 2x and can go up to 5x.

If you manage to fill a full screen with identical jewels, you have collected a total of 5 multipliers (5 columns), which add up to a total multiplier of at least 10x and a maximum of 25x.

The total multiplier is “used” at the end of the re-spins. The prize you have built up is afterwards multiplied by the total multiplier.

In the dream scenario, you have a full screen of diamonds. That’s good for a prize of 9×25=225 times the bet.

If you multiply this by the highest achievable total multiplier (25x), you have your hands on the maximum prize of 5,625x the bet.
