This only seems obvious when you consider its cool Roman army theme, 243 ways to win and a 96.9% payout rate. With this splendid theoretical payout rate, Victorious almost made it into our top 10 best-paying slots!

Victorious takes place in an era when Europe was under the rule of the Roman army. The theme is beautifully executed, with the fierce emperor Caesar, fearless Centurions and, of course, the well-trained foot soldiers.

The free spins bonus round can be quite lucrative due to the 3 x multiplier, resulting in a medium variance for this slot.

Victorious gameplay & features

This slot doesn’t have any fixed paylines. Winning combinations form left to right, with three or more identical symbols leading to a payout (2-of-a-kind with the symbols 9 and 10). It doesn’t matter where the symbols appear on the reels, giving you 243 ways to create a winning combination.

You pay a fixed amount per spin, set between a minimum of $€ 0.25 and a maximum of $€ 125.

Caesar is the highest paying symbol, awarding you 1,500 coins with 5-of-a-kind. The General is good for 1,000 coins, and the soldiers pay a decent 500 coins. The final high-value symbol is soldiers’ formation, yielding you 400 coins with 5 of the same symbols. The lower value symbols consist of the 9, 10, J, Q, K and A, awarding you between 80 and 200 coins.

The golden eagle is the Wild symbol and replaces all other symbols, including the scatter symbol.

Our verdict on the Victorious slot

Victorious is a very well executed video slot that, despite its limited bonus features, manages to keep you on the edge of your seat with excitement. This is mostly because of the Wild symbols and 243 ways to win, instantly allowing you to grab some excellent payouts with each spin.

We prefer slots with potentially attractive payouts in the base game, so you don’t just play for the bonus round.

The near 97% theoretical payout rate is outstanding, and the medium variance is right up our alley as well.
